Delivering an extraordinary magazine for an extraordinary institution

Connect with members to increase retention, reduce churn, increase frequency of visits and donations, as well as ensuring members are aware of RBG Kew’s scientific work.

We produced an accessible, intelligent and engaging magazine using a variety of story-telling techniques, human interest stories with expert insight and quality advertising to enhance reader engagement.

Results

Members have loved the new-look magazine and environmentally friendly cover wrap. Readers have shared visuals of the magazine on Instagram with comments such as: ‘A good read in a beautiful envelope’ ; ‘Outstanding Kew magazine’; ‘Every single article and picture in the summer edition is just such a delight and a wonderful read.’ The cover of the spring 2022 issue won the British Society of Magazine Editors Cover of the Month for April 2022
